Jack Ruan, CAGS
Jack Ruan began his career as a pro basketball player at CBA Shanghai Sharks in China. He later coached Shanghai U-16 youth team and taught physical education at the School of Medicine, Jiao Tong University in China. After completing his graduate studies in the United States, Jack has been teaching physical science, introductory physics, and environmental science in Springfield Public Schools.
Jack has held several positions of educational leadership as an associate principal at a middle school, and an assistant principal at a high school in Hartford and Springfield Public Schools. He has extensive experiences with teaching and administration in K-12 education.
Jack joined Bay Path University in 2007 as an adjunct professor teaching physical science in the One Day A Week College Saturday program. He is currently teaching college physics and labs I & II in the summer Traditional program, and an online course of physical science at The American Women’s College. Jack has brought to Bay Path University a great passion and decades of teaching experience in both K-12 and higher education.
Jack received his undergraduate degree from Shanghai University of Sport in China, his master’s degree from Springfield College, MA, and his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA.
