Jessica M. Rutkowski, RN, MSN, CCRN
Jessica Rutkowski joined Bay Path University in 2017 as part-time adjunct faculty. Jessica started her nursing career as an RN after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2008. She then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2014. Over the last 10 years she has also worked in a critical care ICU setting. This entails continuously providing care for patients with complex health care problems. Skills include viewing various aspects of healthcare management along with the continuously evolving changes in delivery of high quality and cost-effective healthcare. Staying up to date with the most currently evidenced-based research is a continuous aspiration.
Throughout the years she has grown a passion for mentoring and teaching new nurses. She views it as an honor not only to deliver high quality nursing care to patients but then to also broaden student’s knowledge within a teaching role. Jessica believes It is highly motivating for her to play a role in shaping the future of our healthcare system.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband along with her three boys. She believes she is truly blessed as she is an identical twin and had fraternal twin boys. In her free time she also enjoys vacationing, running, reading and just relaxing with a cup of tea.
