Lynn Mercier, JD

Lynn Snopek Mercier began teaching in the Legal Department at Bay Path in 2009, bringing years of teaching experience with her in the areas of legal studies, business law and civil litigation. Prior to her teaching career, she worked as counsel for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company in both Hartford, Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts, specifically working with in-house clients, general agents, and brokers regarding variable contracts law, long term care law and life insurance law. A graduate of Mount Holyoke College and the UCONN School of Law, Lynn is admitted to the Connecticut Bar and Massachusetts Bar. She is currently the Town Moderator for the Town of Granby, Massachusetts and has been elected to that position since 2011. An avid believer in giving back to the community, Lynn holds several volunteer positions in her hometown, church and alma mater.
