Marcie Custer, MEd
Marcie Custer, M.Ed., is the Program Manager for the Higher Education Leadership and Organizational Studies Doctoral Program and the Center for Higher Education Leadership and Innovative Practices at Bay Path University. Most recently Marcie taught high school English at the High School for Science and Technology in Springfield, Massachusetts before moving into higher education at Bay Path University. At Bay Path she has served in many roles including Study Abroad Coordinator, Campus Theme Coordinator, Assistant to the Dean of Liberal Studies, and Assistant to the Assistant Provost. She began her career in Southern California as a Logistics Supervisor for a high volume processing and distribution plant of mail equipment for the United States Postal Service. During that time, she also owned her own screen printing and graphic design business, making good use of her marketing and graphic design talents. After relocating back to Massachusetts, where she grew up, she was an administrative assistant in the Women’s Studies Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and later an Executive Assistant to the Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County. Marcie's M.Ed. is in curriculum design and assessment from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and she is currently enrolled in the Entrepreneurial Thinking and Innovative Practices MBA program at Bay Path.
