Shannon Holtrop, MS, CGC

Shannon Holtrop is a licensed and certified genetic counselor with over six years of Pediatric clinical experience. During her time in clinical practice, she provided genetic counseling to inpatients and outpatients, facilitated genetic counseling student supervision, and led Le Bonheur Children's Hospital's PLUGS (Patient-Centered Laboratory Utilization Guidance Services) committee. Recently, Shannon started a position on the Clinical Genomics team at GeneDx. Shannon obtained her Master of Science in Medical and Molecular Genetics from Indiana University School of Medicine, and she completed her undergraduate degree in Genetics at The University of Wisconsin - Madison.
