I have been teaching health information management and medical coding and billing courses since 2007 at state and private colleges. Prior to teaching I managed medical practices for 20 years, I also worked as an Electronic Health Record implementation specialist and continue to provide practice management consultant services to local medical practices.

I hold 2 credentials from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified Coding Associate (CCA).
