Advanced Trauma-Informed Counseling Certificate

The Bay Path University Certificate in Advanced Trauma-Informed Counseling provides students the opportunity to focus at the master’s level on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of trauma-related mental health conditions in clients of all ages. Successful completion of this certificate program will demonstrate that the student has advanced training in working with trauma, leading to increased expertise as a clinician, as well as advantages in obtaining employment.

Applicants must have previously earned a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field, or must be currently enrolled in such a program. Applicants must have a 3.0 or higher GPA in their graduate work.

DID YOU KNOW? STUDENTS CAN COMPLETE THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM OR USE THEIR CERTIFICATE COURSEWORK TO CONTINUE AT BAY PATH TO COMPLETE THE MS IN CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING DEGREE.
