Financial Assistance is Available
For U.S. citizens and permanent residents , the options for financial assistance include federal and private loans. We encourage you to apply for financial aid at the same time you apply to graduate school
How do I apply for financial aid?
What is the financial aid deadline?
The FAFSA should be completed at least three weeks prior to the start of the semester to ensure the processed application is received by Bay Path University within two weeks prior to the start of the semester.
What kinds of student loans are there?
What is a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan?
An Unsubsidized Stafford Loan is not based on need and the interest is paid by the student while in attendance. Learn more here .
What is NetPartner?
NetPartner is your personalized Financial Aid Portal. Here you will have access to view your financial aid award, accept your award, and view any documentation you are required to submit to the Student Financial Services Office. Learn more about NetPartner here.
What are private loans?
These loans are based on the credit worthiness of the borrower, income-to-date ration and may require a co-signer. Learn more here .
What are Direct Grad PLUS Loans?
Direct Grad PLUS Loans are unsubsidized loans for graduate/professional students. Learn more here .
Can I receive employer reimbursement?
Many employers offer tuition reimbursement as part of an employee benefits package. Each company will differ in the type and extent of reimbursement offered. Learn more here .
Excessive Student Loan Debt Policy
The Office of Student Financial Services at Bay Path University will review the loan history of students with an excessive amount of student loan debt before originating any new federal student loans. Students will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Students will not be denied access because of race, sex, color, income, religion, national origin, age or handicapped status. In the best interest of the student, federal student loans may be reduced or refused per federal regulations. In either event, the student will receive written notification providing an explanation [HEA Sec. 479(A)(c), 34 CFR 685.301(a)(8), DCL GEN-11-07].
