Accepting Applications for Fall 2024 | Application Deadline: January 8, 2024
The Admissions Committee will review all completed application files submitted. A select sub-group of applicants will be contacted to participate in Zoom interviews with the Admissions Committee in February and March. Students are ranked for admission by the Genetic Counseling Program and are admitted based on the results of the match through the National Matching Services (NMS), with results being released on Match Day - April 19, 2023. For consideration, applicants must submit the following admission requirements:
Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from one or more accredited institution(s) (a combined GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred)
Please submit two short original essays on the following topics. Your essays should be no more than 3 typed pages, combined. Your submission must be sent as a separate Word attachment and MUST include your full name at the top of each page. A. What skills and attributes would you bring to the Master of Science in Genetic Counseling Program at Bay Path if you were to match with our program? B. Please share how you were affected by an experience interacting with someone from a different culture or background: what you learned, how you reacted, and what you might do differently if faced with the same situation again.
Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted by phone or email. Interviews will be conducted in February and March via Zoom. Interview schedules and Zoom links will be emailed to interviewees.
