Bay Path University and President Carol Leary placed #25 in the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts
President Leary and guests were counted among the over 700 people gathered at the Seaport Hotel to honor the Top 100 women-led businesses in Massachusetts.
Sponsored by The Boston Globe and The Commonwealth Institute, this annual event now in its fourteenth year celebrates women leaders and CEOs guiding some of the most successful organizations making an impact on the state’s economy.
Beginning at 100, the names were released, and the Bay Path contingent was surprised and thrilled to hear the University listed at #25—the only private higher education institution recognized, and only one of two organizations hailing from Western Massachusetts.
“I was deeply humbled to receive this award on behalf of Bay Path University,” states President Carol Leary. “I share this recognition with all the faculty, staff and supporters of Bay Path who have worked tirelessly to make Bay Path a place where innovation and success is celebrated and embraced.”
Criteria included percentage of women on the Board of Trustees, executive leadership level, and within the workforce; organizational growth; and a record of innovation.
