Bay Path’s COMMunity Awards Night to Celebrate Student Transformation

Longmeadow, MA - Bay Path University will hold their annual COMMunity Awards Night on Friday, December 6, to celebrate and recognize students who lead by example in creating environments for students to thrive and grow.

This year’s event is celebrating the theme of "Metamorphosis” and the ways Bay Path students change and transform over their years in college, emerging as women who are intentional about their future. “We all started as young, naive individuals,” shared Student Newsroom Editor Zoë Naglieri-Prescod ’20. “But as we grow and learn throughout life, especially during our college years, we transform into the people we want to become.”

In addition to the awards ceremony, attendees are invited to enjoy a photo booth, performances, and a very special demonstration of wearable art. Local community partners, including Longmeadow TV, WWLP TV 22, and Springfield Museums will also be honored. The celebration begins with Art Night in Blake Dining Commons from 4-6 pm. Community Awards Night begins at 6:00 p.m. in Mills Theatre, located in Carr Hall. The Bay Path campus is located at 588 Longmeadow Street, Longmeadow, MA.

The community is invited to attend, and $5 tickets are available  at https://bpcommunityawardsnight2019.eventbrite.com). Tickets are free for Bay Path faculty, staff and students, and all are encouraged to register beforehand. Everyone in attendance is invited to wear something that resembles their own journey and growth into the person they have become or are striving to be.

Powered by the Bay Path Student Newsroom, the COMMunity Awards Night is sponsored by the Bay Path Communications Club, NAMIC New England, Sullivan Career and Life Planning Center, Bay Path's School of Liberal Studies and Undergraduate Communications, and a host of collaborators.
