Transfer Students

Let Bay Path University Be Your Final Destination

Throughout the year, we welcome adult women transfer students into The American Women's College. Transfer students come to us with many different goals. These typically include:

  • making use of prior credits earned years ago and completing a bachelor’s degree
  • continuing college after earning an associate’s degree
  • earning a degree quickly in an accelerated format
  • meeting and working with other adult women who are pursuing their degree
  • learning online in a flexible, personal and highly supportive environment
  • finding security in an accredited, thriving, not-for-profit institution

Our admissions team is eager to help you transfer in any prior college credits you may have already earned. We generally accept your past course credits – even ones earned years ago – as long as the school was regionally accredited, the class level was 100 or higher, and you demonstrated academic success in the class.

Admissions criteria may vary by major. Consult your Admissions Counselor for admissions requirements for your program of interest.

Your Admissions Counselor can quickly provide you with an assessment of how many credits you can bring into your chosen degree program. (We allow a maximum number of 90 transfer credits towards the 120-credit bachelor’s degree.) She also can advise you on the remaining courses you need to complete your degree. Contact us to talk with an Admissions Counselor.

You also may be able to earn college credit for prior professional experience, and volunteer or military service. Learn more about Prior Learning Assessment.

American Council on Education (ACE) credits also may be accepted in conjunction with our Prior Learning Assessment program.
