Military Benefits & Services

We Support Our American Servicemen & Servicewomen - and Their Families

To support our military families, The American Women’s College offers a number of benefits and services to its college degree and certificate students who are on active duty, military spouses, and veterans.

Military Tuition Discount
Are you or your spouse an active or retired military service member? If so, The American Women's College is happy to extend you our per credit tuition discount. The standard per credit tuition cost is $410. However, for those who qualify, the discounted military affiliation rate is $350 per credit. This military discount can reduce the total cost of your college education by well over 10%.

GI Bill® Accepted
The American Women's College is also pleased to accept the GI Bill® for which a copy of the DD214 is required.

Yellow Ribbon Program
We offer a limited number of Yellow Ribbon Scholarships in the amount of $3,000 which is then matched by the Department of Veterans Affairs. This program is part of the Post-9/11 GI Bill® that helps make higher education more affordable for veterans.

Dedicated Certifying Official
The American Women's College and Bay Path University have on staff a dedicated certifying official to guide you in using your military benefits.

Virtual Military Lounge
All military-affiliated students will have access to a private virtual lounge for each branch of service. Here students can converse with one another in an open forum. The lounge also features an extensive listing of valuable resources and organizations for active duty service members, veterans, and their families.

Transferable Credits
Being involved in the military can mean having to move frequently. That’s why we make it easy for you to transfer in up to 90 credits. Plus, your credits from other institutions never expire. What’s more, you can even earn Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credits for military service as well as other volunteer service and professional training.

We also accept American Council on Education (ACE) credits, typically as part of our Prior Learning Assessment program.

Transferable Jobs
We understand that, for military spouses, portable careers are key. For this reason, we offer degrees that lead to jobs that are readily available across the country, including in Health Services Administration, Business and Psychology.

Support Services
We provide exceptional support services through a dedicated Admissions Counselor, a financial aid adviser, an educator coach, a faculty adviser and a career mentor.
