Grants are often called “gift aid” because they are essentially free money—financial aid that does not have to be repaid. Grants are often need-based, while scholarships are usually merit-based.
Every woman who submits a FAFSA application and designates Bay Path University will be considered for applicable and available grants.
Grants may include:
- Federal Pell Grants (if eligible)
- MASSGrants (Massachusetts residents may be eligible)
- Other grants in connection with Bay Path University and other sources
Even if you receive grant monies and/or scholarships, you are still advised to explore additional available resources. Many scholarship monies go unclaimed because the right candidate did not research and apply for the funds.
